DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technology to join our team. As the Director of Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technology and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Purpose:

  • Administer the District's telecommunications and technology programs

  • Administer the District's video surveillance system

  • Plan and implement strategies to enhance staff and student use of technology resources

  • Provide ongoing professional development to ensure staff are up-to-date on technology being utilized in the district

  • Attend all administrative team meetings to ensure building and district administration are aware of the issues and trends of technology

  • Administer district cyber security system to ensure the district remains safe from cyber attacks

  • Promote an effective learning environment

  • Encourage program innovations

  • Keep the superintendent informed about emerging issues

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience managing a team

  • Knowledge of office productivity tools and systems administration

  • Experience in server management and network infrastructure

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions

  • Knowledge of the curriculum process and upcoming trends

  • Commitment to keeping current with technological advances

  • Documentation of a clear criminal record
