Elementary Restart Guide - Revised 11/2020
I hope this message finds you all safe and healthy! I am calling to give you an update on our COVID-19 data. Our numbers have improved since going remote. We currently have 1 HS student and 1 HS staff who tested positive, 1 MS student and 1 MS staff who tested positive, 1 ES student and 2 ES staff who tested positive and are quarantined. In addition, we have 6 staff and 13 students that have been identified as contacts and therefore have been quarantined by the BCHD and restricted to their homes. Obviously, our goal is to bring students back ASAP. That being said, the St. Clairsville-Richland City School District will begin the Hybrid learning model on Monday, November 30th. You will be receiving a call later today from your building principal with a detailed schedule. This is an extremely fluid situation, and we will continue to monitor the number of active cases in our district. As always, I will continue to give you updates as information is made available.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these difficult times. Please continue to wear your mask, social distance, wash your hands frequently and stay safe and healthy! Have a great Thanksgiving!
This is just a reminder that there will be a Remote Learning Day this Friday, November 6th. Your child’s assignments will be located in Google Classroom. This can be accessed using your child’s school email address.
