Middle School Restart Guide - Revised 11/2020
Congratulations to Eila Vcelka and Jasmyn Burkhart finishing first and second, respectively in the Middle School Spelling Bee. They will advance to the Belmont County Spelling Bee on February 4, 20121.
We're proud of our Red Devils!
I hope this message finds you all safe and healthy! I am calling to give you an update on our COVID-19 data. Our numbers have improved since going remote. We currently have 1 HS student and 1 HS staff who tested positive, 1 MS student and 1 MS staff who tested positive, 1 ES student and 2 ES staff who tested positive and are quarantined. In addition, we have 6 staff and 13 students that have been identified as contacts and therefore have been quarantined by the BCHD and restricted to their homes. Obviously, our goal is to bring students back ASAP. That being said, the St. Clairsville-Richland City School District will begin the Hybrid learning model on Monday, November 30th. You will be receiving a call later today from your building principal with a detailed schedule. This is an extremely fluid situation, and we will continue to monitor the number of active cases in our district. As always, I will continue to give you updates as information is made available.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these difficult times. Please continue to wear your mask, social distance, wash your hands frequently and stay safe and healthy! Have a great Thanksgiving!
FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH!
Every student in the District will receive a free breakfast and lunch until December 31st or until the funding is exhausted. A meal includes an entrée and milk. There is a cost for additional entrées, Gatorade, bottled water, ice cream, chips, etc. If you have questions, please contact Lowell Perkins at 740-695-2477 or email@example.com.
Sometimes our irrational thoughts about awful outcomes or needs for perfection may keep us from trying new activities. As we can tell ourselves rational statements—of our possible failures as we get better at new activities—those might help free us up simply to do our best.
