After much planning and feedback from parents, staff, students, and the Belmont County Health Department, we have developed a Restart Plan for the fall of 2020. Our goal is to open the school year as traditional as possible (Monday - Friday) while taking every precaution possible to protect the well-being of our staff and students. However, due to possible changes/directives from the Governor and the Belmont County Health Department the level of instruction Green, Yellow or Red may fluctuate. This has been, and continues to be, a very difficult process due to so many variables. We also understand that it has created a stressful situation for parents, students and staff. We greatly appreciate your patience as we continue to make decisions with your student’s best interests in mind.

In addition to the traditional plan (Green Level), we have developed a hybrid model (Yellow Level) with students divided into two groups and attending in person with face-to-face instruction 2 days a week and learning from home 3 days a week.

The last is the remote plan (Red Level) with all students working from home.

Please take time to review our Restart plan and a letter from the Belmont County Health Department explaining their role in the process. We will be releasing a two-question survey for parents to complete regarding which learning option (Remote or In-person) they would like their child/children to begin the year with. The Restart Plan and survey can be found on our district website, our district Facebook page or the district office.

Our goal is to begin the year as traditional as possible (Green level).
