St. Clairsville Preschool Interest Forms will be available in the Elementary School office from February 3 - March 5, for those interested in enrolling their child in the preschool program. A lottery drawing will take place following the enrollment period. Applications may be filled out for children 3-5 years of age, with priority given to children eligible for Kindergarten the following school year. St. Clairsville School District guidelines for Kindergarten eligibility state that children must be 5 years of age on or before August 1st of the enrolling school year.

The 2019-2020 Fifth Grade Orientation is planned for Thursday, August 15, 2019 in the High School Media Center. The orientation will give incoming 5th grade students and their parents/guardians the opportunity to meet the teachers and become familiar with the middle school setting.
Three orientation group sessions will be available:
9:00 AM -11:00 AM
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
5:00 PM -7:00 PM
Each session is limited to 10 students from each homeroom and their parents/guardians. In each session, the Principal, Mr. Mike McKeever, and 5th grade teachers will be reviewing school policies, procedures and many other topics pertinent to the transition to the middle school. Students may bring their school supplies with them that day.
Incoming students who are currently enrolled in the school district were given orientation letters on May 22nd when they toured the middle school. Parents/guardians are asked to complete the form and return to
St. Clairsville Middle School, 104 Woodrow Avenue, St. Clairsville, OH 43950 by Friday, June 14, 2019. Confirmation of your orientation session time will then be made by a 5th grade teacher by Friday, August 9, 2019.
